Senator Jeff Atwater supported a state-sponsored HURRICANE MITIGATION PROGRAM to help homeowners make their homes more storm resistant and then qualify for an Insurance Premium discount.

“The program helps homeowners by offering low-interest loans and grants for homeowners to secure their houses from futrue storms and in doing so lowers the risk of damage which qualifies the homeowner for a preimum discount,” said Senator Atwater.
